Issues with Design

If you see or experience any of these issues or have been told you need to reset your DynaScapeDS folder, follow the instructions in the solution below:

  • Cannot open Design

  • Design immediately shuts down when opening

  • You see Dynascape Landscape and Drafting has stopped working message

  • Command Prompt is giving incorrect steps when using a tool

  • Tools are not working properly

  • Figures are v5 but you are on current version (figures like in v6, i.e. FR-FIREPLACES, FR-KITCHEN)

  • EPG Runtime error

  • I have been told I need to reset my DynaScapeDS folder

Solution

In order to correct the above issues with Design or to refresh your symbols folder, you will first need to ensure your software is up to date.

Next you will reset the DynaScapeDS folder so the files needed for the program to run correctly are restored to the default settings and the symbols folder is refreshed.
