6.7.6 Tips - October 2022

  1. Scale and Image: You can insert an image into your design, such as a site plan, photo, or satellite image, using the Imaging panel. To size it accurately to the scale of the drawing, click on "Resize an existing raster image" and choose the longest dimension for improved accuracy.

  2. Shift for Pan/Zoom: Holding the Shift key while using the mouse wheel allows you to pan or zoom in the design workspace.

  3. Shift+Tab for CLI: To measure distances between locations and verify scale, use the Command Line Interpreter (CLI) by pressing Shift + Tab to open or close it.

  4. Window and Door Settings: When outlining a building using the Building Tool, you can modify settings to differentiate window and door segments by changing line weight and fill.
