In order to fix the Activation Error: Printer not activated, error code -30 or -41 error message when trying to Save As an Adobe PDF, the first step would be to ensure the software is up to date by checking for updates using the below instructions, if there are no updates for DynaScape Design, please follow the Reset PDF Writer section.

How to update:

If you have Windows 11
- Click Windows Logo in the bottom left corner
- All Apps
- Scroll down and click on DynaScape
- Click on Check for DynaScape Design Updates and follow the prompts.
If you have Windows 10
- Click Windows Logo in the bottom left corner
- Scroll down and click on DynaScape
- Click on Check for DynaScape Design Updates and follow the prompts.
Now try to create a PDF by going to File > Save as > Adobe PDF, if it doesn’t work, please follow the below Reset PDF Writer instructions.

If you are already at the current version of Design & Color or updating did not resolve the issue, please perform the following steps:

Reset PDF Writer:

Open Design, then in the main menu go to Help > Repair PDF Export, then click the Yes button
Open Color, then in the main menu go to Help > Repair PDF Export, then click the Yes button.
